After seeing this show friends of mine and myself started to operate planes from Buffalo Airways for some time (mainly the DC4 and the C46). We created scenarios to suit the planes and made use of the surrounding scenery or simply flew the original routes from the show.
The Sked
This is the scheduled service run twice a day between the base in Yellowknife and Hay River. It is a short trip over the Great Slave Lake.
Stikine Icefield Research Project
Based on it’s real world counterpart, the JIRP (Juneau Icefield Research Program), SIRP places 10 isolated research camps at various locations in the vast Stikine Icefield that straddles the Alaska/British Columbia border.
