Ah, Mugello, this time not for testing F1 but racing slots. "Nathalie" opened the qualify doing a good job there, compared to her training time. Then it was "Kleiner" who sliced the car around and got in there with the only time under 6 secs. "Pontiac51" thought he had second, but "Viking" shaved off another 0.01 secs off his time. Then the others stood in, not forgeting "Grilli", the newbie this time.

"Viking", again damn impressive driving. "Alex" and "Nathalie" sorted it out just on the last run. It should be mentioned that one race all were DQ'ed except "Viking" and "Nathalie". She stated: "Ok, i'll race him, maybe he does a DNF." That said "Viking" flew off the very first turn. Talk about prediction!
So "Pontiac51", "Grilli", "Suom" and "Kleiner" were in Class A.

This class saw a fight between "Kleiner" and "Pontiac51". "Pontiac51" had more wins in the end, but "Kleiner" scored the highest points on the much hated yellow lane in round 1. "Suom" was there but 4 DNF's are just too much. "Grilli" was earning his first points rather quiet.
"Christina", "Suom", "Grilli" and "Alex" would settle pos. 5-8.

"Suom" got it in there, scoring the only win on yellow in this race. Impressive! "Grilli" and "Alex" challenged him quite often and they needed a tiebreaker to settle their positions. "Christina" just collected the points the others left for her.
"Viking", "Kleiner", "Nathalie" and "Pontiac51" would settle pos. 1-4 in this A-final.

"Viking" established a small lead trough the first runs. After the first 4 runs he was in front 2 pts ahead of "Kleiner" and "Pontiac51". Then "Pontiac51" could gain 4 pts on "Kleiner" and even 8 on "Viking". With 2 runs left "Kleiner" said: "He's got it now, he's on the better lanes for the last 2 runs." And in fact "Pontiac51" won the last 2 runs. "Viking" was not very happy with his 3 DNF's this heat, he finished only third.
Congrats to all drivers, thank you, ladies and gentleman, for an exiting race. The Pontiac51 Raceway will be back in may. Till then, go fast, turn left...
