Pontiac51's Slot Race
13-11-00
9 drivers on the starting grid today, one new man one the line namely "Sam". All others more or less skilled drivers from all over the championship table. All drivers agreed that this track was a very technical one with his sharp turns in the infield. This resulted in rather high qualify times:

Class C
Driver\Lane Yellow Blue Red Green pts. final

Samuel   10 6 0 16 B
Manuel   0 0 4 4 C
Viking   10 10 0 20 A

"Viking" did it for A, tough he fought with "Sam" some times. "Manuel" was there also, but he could not finish.

So "Suom", "Kleiner" and "Pontiac51" competed in Class B.

Class B
Driver\Lane Yellow Blue Red Green pts. final

Kleiner   10 6 0 16 A
Suom   10 0 0 10 C
Pontiac51   10 0 0 10 B

"Kleiner" winning this class, "Suom" and "Pontiac51" in the tiebreaker, which was lost by "Suom" in the last turn, bad luck for him.

So "Nathalie", "Leo" and "David" competed in Class A.

Class A
Driver\Lane Yellow Blue Red Green pts. final

Nathalie   10 6 6 22 A
Leo   10 0 0 10 C
David   10 0 0 10 B

"Nathalie" winning with a tactical eye, "Leo" and "David" both too much on the risky side of racing.

"Manuel, "Leo" and "Suom" would settle pos. 7-9.

C-Final
Driver\Lane Yellow Blue Red Green pts. pos.

Manuel   10/6 6/0 0/0 22 8.
Leo   10/10 6/10 0/0 36 7.
Suom   10/10 0/0 0/0 20 9.

"Leo" winning this class, "Manuel" challenged him quite a bit, "Suom" was not able to score on the red lane.

"David", "Sam" and "Pontiac51" would settle pos. 4-6 in this B-final.

B-Final
Driver\Lane Yellow Blue Red Green pts. pos.

David   10/10 0/0 0/6 26 5.
Sam   0/0 6/6 0/0 12 6.
Pontiac51   10/10 10/10 0/4 44 4.

"Pontiac51" not in the A-final today, cause of his bad first round, getting all points out of the B-final, tough "David" challenged him a couple of times.

"Viking", "Nathalie" and "Kleiner" would settle the GP winner in the A-final.

A-Final
Driver\Lane Yellow Blue Red Green pts. pos.

Nathalie   6/10 6/6 0/0 28 3.
Kleiner   6/10 10/0 4/0 30 2.
Viking   10/10 10/6 4/0 40 1.

Quite close racing here by "Kleiner" and "Viking. "Nathalie" was also up for winning today, but she didnt risk everything. "Kleiner" did, causing a DNF on the red lane, which possible did cost him victory today. "Viking" in an after race interview: I did not quite believe that i could hold of "Kleiner" today. He was very strong and is sure an upcoming winner.

So the "Grand Prix Champion Trophy" was for "Viking", the "Pole Position Trophy" for "Leo", the "Runner Up Award" for "Nathalie" and the "Steadiness Award" for "Suom".

Congrats to all drivers, thank you, ladies and gentleman, for an exiting race. The Pontiac51 Raceway will be back in 2 weeks for the final. Till then, go fast, turn left...
